How and where is infectious medical waste from hospitals and clinics disposed of?

Answer:
It depends on what type of waste it is. I have included a link for you to check out since there are many different classifications of biohazardous waste, and a different way to dispose of each one.
Many hospitals send their waste to be incinerated. Some pay for it to be hauled off to landfills.
all medical waste is burned in the united states. some are donated to science.
I believe in the US medical waste in bio hazard is burned.
i asked the same question to my doctor when i had my leg amputate and he told me they burn it
