How can I get tested to see if I have chronic fatigue syndrome?

Answer:
It is a diagnosis of exclusion when all known medical causes of fatigue are ruled out. Some clinicians doubt the existence of this syndrome.
Ask your doctor about it.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is defined as long-standing, severe, disabling fatigue without demonstrable muscle weakness. Underlying disorders that could explain the fatigue are absent. Depression, anxiety, and other psychologic diagnoses are typically absent. Treatment is rest and psychologic support, often including antidepressants.
Please see the web pages for more details on Chronic fatgue syndrome.
There is no real test for it. It is something your doctor will determine as to your symptoms and the tests that he takes compared to your symptoms. It has many symptoms
The best specialist for testing this illness is a Neuro Doc or a Radiologist, both know best how to test for the systems of this strange illness. But many may require a referral from your regular doctor, so ask around. Most insurance companies will not accept a special doctor unless it is from your regular doctor that thinks you need to see him or she. Just make sure your bases are covered money wise before seeing your specialist...you will need that full insurance coverage because there will be many test but worth every penny if you can get help.Good luck and better health,
Emily

How can i get sick fast?

well i really need to get sick beacuse i cant go to school beacuse its like i hate that school and there only a few days left and i really need to not go and my mom wont let me miss school un less im really sick
Answer:
Go to Tijuana and drink the water!! nm
Tough it out.
Hahah oh boy.Take a laxative? It will make you need to go to the toilet (#2) for a good while.. and just say you must have some virus.
Drink six gallons of bleach. You'll never have to go to school again.
Suck it up for the last few days..but if your desperate..drink hot water and have your mom take your temperature..
hahaha wow umm get around sick ppl and breathe in their germs and sneezes ahahaha
look in the mirror
whats a few more days gonna do?!! just ditch! it has less consequences than making yourself ill and putting your health at risk!
the fastest and most guarranteed way to be sick is dehydration. That would be...don't drink enough water when its hot and you get sick, heat stroke and pass out. I do not recommend it. I was sick-sick, throwing up and became dehydrated last year and got an IV and medicine after a couple days. Not recommended. What you need to do is fake being sick because if you are really sick you'll be miserable. The other thing is eating bad food and getting food poisoning, but your kidneys could fail for either one of these. I do not recomend either. Just try to stick with it for a couple more days
Hey try this it works peel of the onion %26 put it in your armpit for 5 -10 minutes you will get fever if you want high fever put it for 30 minutes
You know, there are soooo many people in this world who are dying of being sick, thier only wish in to not be sick. You must have a truely sick mind if you actually want to get sick.
in the morning before school stick your finger down your throat and gag yourself till you throw up all over your bedroom
stand on your head for 10 minutes, smell 2 dog farts, and wash your hair in the toilet. Or, if your silly enough to beleive any of these suggestions, I suggest you spend more time in school.

How can I get rid on sinus drainage without medication?

Im going on a trip and im leaving in one week so it needs to be gone by then..Im gonna be camping
Answer:
Nasal irrigation is what the poster was trying to remember. Its flushing your sinuses with saline solution. The device is called a Netti Pot. Google nasal irrigation or Netti Pot. Its really helpful for people with sinus problems.
use a homemade remedy=put hot water in a bowl and a towel and your head over top of it to get the steam=this should drain out the phlegm
There is a special thing you can buy to clear your sinus passages. I saw it on Oprah a few weeks ago (don't laugh). I don't remember the name of it, but it looks like a little teapot and works awesome to flush everything out.
I take a cup and put warm water and 1-2 tsp of salt til it disolves. Then you can take either a big one of those snot sucker syringe bulb thingys for babies and force the water up your sinuses or you can just put it in your hand plug one side and sniff really hard. Do it a few times and a while later it will drain and feel so much better!! The salt helps draw out infection and also to dry it up. Seems like it would hurt but it doesn't
There is a saline spray you can buy over the counter. You can also use Oscillococcinum, buy it at any drug store or health food store, it is for the flu but is good for any cold type symtoms including allergy. I take 3 dots instead of the whole vial since this is how my homeopathic doctor told me to take it. I also take drops under the tongue for allergies. These you can get a some health food stores and online. I get mine from my homeopathic doctor.Diane
chicken noodle soup
or
really spicy foods like mexican foodthat is what I learned in health ; )
It's called a netti pot and you can buy them at health food strores. it's like a mini flower pot. all you do is mix a bit of salt since our body like natural healers (good for cuts as well, better than creams you buy in drug store..those kill off the good cells you need in your body to heal. so mix the salt into warm water. When you have it in the netti pot, you tip your head to the side, pour in one side of your nose and it will come out the other, then repeat on the other side! This works for any kind of headache above your eyes and pressure under your eyes..using the netti pot it relieves pressure since you are flushing the bad stuff out!! Good Luck!!

How can i get rid of water blisters/bubbles?

Answer:
you can choose to either let them heal on their own, or drain them yourself. If the blisters are not obtrusive it’s best to let them heal on their own as puncturing the outer layer of skin will create an open wound and increase the likelihood of infection. If your skin blister is large and/or painful, and you choose to drain the fluid - take care to leave the outer skin intact. Follow these steps carefully in order to help your blister heal faster and continue to protect it.Clean the blister with rubbing alcohol or antibacterial soap.
Sterilize a straight or safety pin by using pliers to hold it over a flame until the pin glows red and then allowing it to cool.
Using the pin, puncture a small hole in the base of the blister.
Using GENTLE pressure, drain the blister.
Apply an antibiotic ointment to the area like Bacitracin and Polymyxin B – triple antibiotic ointment. Avoid products containing neomycin as this is more likely to cause an allergic reaction.
Cover the area with an absorbent, non-stick bandage and change it daily. You may need to change it more often if it becomes wet, dirty, or loose.
In the event that the blister forms a small tear in the outer skin, treat it in the same way as if you had punctured it using the above steps. If the tear is larger, “un-roof” the blister by carefully removing the loose skin with sterilized scissors. Then cleanse the base of the blister with antibacterial soap and water, and apply antibiotic ointment and a bandage as described in steps 5 and 6 above.
Don't try to pop them. It will make it worse. The water in the blister is there because what ever caused you to get it in the first place burnt your skin in some way (wheather it be friction or just fire) and the water is there to cool it off and prevent more burning or heat. Just leave it alone for a couple days and it will disappear on it's own. If you try to get the water out it will scar and hurt really bad!

How can i get rid of under eye dark circles?

Answer:
Sleep or cold spoons from the freezer=)
a vitamin K supplement will help or a vitamin K cream under the eyes and night and plently of sleep altho in some cases amount of sleep has nothing to do with dark circles also watch your sugar intake too much sugar can cause dark circles under the eyes
buy an eye lightening cream, the good ones start at $40
it instantly will lighten your eye dark circles,
they have tiny sprinkles that make your skin shimmer
if you apply it twice daily you should see an improvement if you were born with them
there's not much you can do
unless you see your dermatologist
who'll reccommend something priceybut if you keep the skin soft and moisturized, and wrinkle free, it should not look so bad
Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care. Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in lukewarm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. Check out http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/... for more info.
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26 stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26 let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26 Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

How can I get rid of this Viral Infection?

I have been sick for 1 week and 1 day. It started with freezing and high fever then went to sore throat and fever. and then the fever quit and the sore throat quit... Now all i have is swollen sore gums and jaw. I can't eat solid foods. and I have lost so much wait because of it. I look horrible. How can i get better faster? A big camping trip is coming up this weekend and I need to go. Anything that will help me be able to chew and swallow my food? I have tried gargling salt water and peroxide and they both don't work. any help will save me?
Answer:
Sounds like you have a sinus infection. That will cause your gums and jaw to swell up. You need to go to the doctor again to make sure it is still viral. An infection will require antibiotics. Also, you want to make sure you don't have any immune system deficiency that is causing you to not get better sooner. Other than that, here are a couple suggestions:a) Are you taking a decongestant and antihistamine? If you are able, you might try that. It will halt the production of all that ****, and help it to remain thin so you can blow your nose or cough it up.b) Take extra vitamin C if you are not doing so. You can get these in the form of a cough drop that you just suck so you won't need to chew it. Also, zinc and echinacea are helpful to healing faster. You can take airborne which provides those ingredients in a liquid form as well.c) Getting nutrition is critical to healing. Get vegetable soups with broths that you can drink. Drink an ensure if necessary. And drink tons of clear fluid (water, ginger ale, etc.) to ensure hydration.d) Be sure to get plenty of rest. Sitting here on your computer is okay for an hour here and there, but try to actually sleep when you are able. Your body does most of its healing while you are asleep.Good luck, and I hope you are feeling better in time for your camping trip.
if you have a virus, you will be sick until your body gets over it. period. there is no drug or tonic that you can take that will speed up the process. you are going to have to just hang up on the camping weekend - if you do go, and are still having ANY symptoms, you will be contagious and will make all of your fellow campers sick with the exact virus you have had. you don't "need" to go on any camping trip - what you "need" is to rest and recuperate, and not get everyone else sick with your virus. unless, of course, you are just selfish enough to only care about your own wants, and not the good health of your friends... which i don't really think you are...
It sounds like an infection. Go see a doctor. You probabbly need a prescription for penecilian or an amoxacillian. Its important to get it checked in case you've got something worse going on, you'd hate to ignore something like cancer.Get treatment, and good luck. Hope you feel better!
